The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java, Backend) to help us deliver on our promise: to eliminate the chaos of fragmented data and enable confident, real-time decision-making. As part of Syncari’s engineering team, you’ll build world-class, highly performant features for our next-generation agentic master data management (MDM) platform. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions will drive secure, scalable, and intelligent data infrastructure that underpins AI readiness.
You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and DevOps.

What You’ll Do

• Develop robust, scalable backend systems for Syncari’s agentic MDM platform using Java and Spring Boot
  
• Partner closely with other engineers to design and iterate on new product features and infrastructure improvements
  
• Write unit and functional tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure high-quality code coverage
  
• Perform code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices and coding standards
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with timely and effective solutions
  
• Contribute to the evolution of our software architecture and technology stack
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience building web applications in Java
  
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithmic problem-solving
  
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring DI, and modern Java frameworks
  
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
  
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
  
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs and version control using Git/GitHub
  
• Nice-to-have: experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Kubernetes, BigQuery, or Pub/Sub
  
• Nice-to-have: experience working as a full-stack engineer
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Salary Range: The expected base salary for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
