The Opportunity

We are seeking a customer-facing Sales Engineer with deep expertise in data platforms, MDM, or enterprise integration architecture.

You will partner closely with Account Executives to support complex enterprise sales cycles by leading technical discovery, architecting enterprise-grade solutions, delivering compelling demos, and executing structured Proofs of Concept (POCs).

This role engages Ops, IT, Data Engineering, Security, and executive stakeholders to validate Syncari’s ability to operate within sophisticated, multi-system enterprise environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise prospects evaluating data unification, governance, and MDM solutions.
  • Lead deep discovery sessions across Revenue Operations, IT, Data Engineering, and Security teams.
  • Architect scalable, secure, enterprise-grade data solutions across complex system landscapes.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to real-world enterprise use cases.
  • Design and execute structured POCs, including:
    • Master data modeling and schema alignment
    • Golden record configuration and identity resolution
    • Data normalization and transformation workflows
    • Multi-system integration across CRM, marketing, support, and warehouse platforms
  • Support architecture reviews, security diligence, RFPs, and technical validation processes.
  • Present to both technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Provide product feedback to Engineering based on enterprise requirements.
  • Ensure clean technical handoff to Customer Success and Implementation teams.

Travel Expectations

  • Travel up to 20–30%, primarily for:
    • On-site discovery workshops and architecture sessions
    • Executive presentations
    • Strategic POC kickoffs
    • Industry and customer events
  • Travel may increase temporarily for high-value enterprise opportunities.
  • Primarily domestic U.S. travel.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Data Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles (6–12+ months, multi-stakeholder).
  • Direct experience with:
    • Master Data Management (MDM) platforms
    • Data integration/iPaaS solutions
    • Data governance or data quality systems
    • Enterprise data platforms (CDP, ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse, Data Lake)
  • Strong understanding of various master data domains (Vendor, Contact, Product, Customer, Location, etc.) and golden record strategy.
  • Experience with enterprise ecosystems such as Salesforce Enterprise, Azure, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
  • Experience in Technical or Engineering Consulting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, Authentication styles, and modern integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security and governance frameworks (RBAC, SSO, SOC 2, audit logging).
  • Familiarity with modern AI architectures and LLM tools.
  • SQL proficiency; scripting experience (Python or JavaScript) preferred.
  • Strong executive presence, architectural whiteboarding ability, and intellectual curiosity.

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) Range: $130,000 – $170,000

Final compensation (base, variable, and equity) will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
