Job Description:
Syncari is seeking a highly experienced Director of Solutions Engineering to join our Customer Experience team. You will play a pivotal role in building the foundation and ensuring our customers’ success by managing their accounts, providing technical consulting for broader adoption, ideating new use cases for our customers on the Syncari platform, and collaborating on customer renewals with the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead a team of strong high performers and mentor them on technical and customer success management
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to assigned customers, building strong relationships, and understanding their business needs and objectives. You will also work with the account’s assigned sales executive to help you build a stronger relationship with, and support the customer to be successful with the platform and their use cases.
- Technical Consulting: Collaborate with customers to identify new use cases and opportunities for optimizing their data integration processes, gathering requirements, driving adoption on the Syncari platform.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Syncari platform and stay up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities to provide expert guidance to customers.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain a strong relationship with Product/Engineering and Sales to align objectives and help in customer success
- Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries, issues, product enhancements, and concerns promptly and effectively, coordinating with internal teams to find solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor customer accounts and platform usage, identifying areas of churn risk and customer expansion.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, implementation details, and progress toward achieving customer objectives.
- Articulate and educate on business, technical, and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including business users, developers, architects, IT operations professionals, and senior IT management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical consulting role, data integration, leading data projects, and delivering solutions for customers.
- Experience managing a high performing global and remote team
- Hands-on experience with data technologies, data modeling, ETL processes, SQL, integration architecture patterns, and APIs
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving customer success.
- Strong empathy and drive to ensure our customers are successful and that they always feel supported on their journey with us
- Experience working with customers on an integration platform that can solve multiple use cases and with multiple approaches.
- Excellent presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical/business audiences, presenting Strategic Action Plans to mitigate churn and drive expansion
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving customer success.
- Ability to be scrappy and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Salary Range: The expected base salary for this role is $175,000 – $200,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
