Got data silo pains? You are not alone.  Every organization struggles with a lack of data unification and interoperability across the tech stack. It’s an unintended consequence of the accelerated adoption of SaaS and cloud data sources.  The products we buy weren’t built to speak to one another out of the box.  But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Integration isn’t the right approach

First, some bad news. Your existing approach to breaking down these data silos is woefully inadequate. But hey, it’s not your fault.  Until recently, integration was really your only option. You could integrate your apps together directly using APIs from a vendor or connectors from an integration solution and create a brittle architecture that struggles to adapt when schemas change or new systems come online. Or, you could ETL or ELT all your data into a central repository like a Master Data Management solution or a cloud data warehouse.  And then re-integrate it back out to where it’s needed to run your business.

While these integration-centric approaches may allow you to see more of your data in one place, you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone who has taken these approaches and ended up with clean, consistent, interoperable data across their entire tech stack. Step 3: Explore cross-system data centrally

Your data is now unified!  You can now explore and interact with previously fragmented data directly within Syncari. The example below shows 100 unique records from Salesforce, NetSuite, and Hubspot being unified into 100 unique, complete records in Syncari.  From Data Studio, you can actually see how the data stitching was done using the unique IDs of the cross-functional records to avoid the creation of 300 records. 

The best part: now a data change in any of your systems (or made directly in Syncari) will be automatically synced across every connected system in accordance with your governance rules and policies. This is data automation.

Step 4: Visualize data using Syncari’s built-in GTM data warehouse

The same unified data you explored inside of Syncari can also be accessed through Data Store — Syncari’s built-in Go-To-Market data warehouse that drastically improves data-driven decision making for our customers.  Simply request your Data Store credentials and provide them to a BI tool of your choice (we’re using the open-source Metabase below) and keep your BI and operational dashboards in sync with trusted, consistent data.
